Hi, I'm Niki. I read a lot. I read in my spare time and if i don't have any time to spare then I make time. I believe that reading is very important. It expands your knowledge, imagination, and your openness to new things. I love to talk books so just let me know what you're reading and I'll talk. :) Thanks.

thanx Niki. yeah, sometimes I like to spiral my hair but it falls out easily for some reason and goes back straight in a few hours. I've been good!! and you?? Did you get any snow? I was so thrilled when we had a white christmas! It really made it extra special. We still have some snow on the ground but it's gradually melting. But yeah, I just turned 29 years old and celebrated with the family. It's been a good year so far? How about you? Anything going on with you? Reading anything good?

I'm back to having classes again... so busy with that. You probably are too.. huh?

Niki!! Hey!! Gosh, sorry for the slow response! It is just chaos for me during this time of year!! I guess it is for most people. I haven't had time for any reading really. Just trying to finish up my classes before Christmas gets here. Your art project sounds fun! So how did it go? Did you finish up with it? How was your Thanksgiving? Maybe I already asked you before... not sure... ha, ha. But, yeah, mine was good... lots of food and family... it was really nice. I just know that this month is going to be crazy though is all!! How are you and what's you up to now?

It is, and it is another paranormal romance type. Still a great read. I may like it more than any other from that genre that I've read...depending on how the follow up goes.

    Hi Niki,

Thanks for your friendship request. I gladly accept it, specially because you have a fantastic shelf with a lot of interesting books. I just finished Shiver and I totally loved it. Secretly I hope there will be a second book ;o) I actually don't really know where you can order the Dutch version of Shiver in America. Maybe you can try this site: www.bol.com. They're shipping the books from Holland to America, but it will cost a lot of money. Maybe your own bookstore can order it for you. I give you the information:

Huiver (which is Shiver in Dutch)
    By Maggie Stiefvater (of course!)
Full Moon Company (imprint by Dutch Media)
    ISBN 978-90-488-0253-1

If you take this information to your bookstore (specially the ISBN) then maybe they can find it.. May I ask you the reason why you want the Dutch version? Are you Dutch of are you such a fan that you want all versions of the book ;o)

I have another good book for you to read: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I totally loved it. There's also a second book in this series called Catching Fire. Hope you will like them just as much as I do.

Have a wonderful day & keep on reading!
    Greetings, Monique

Hey again Nikkki! How you doing this week so far?

Just finished reading The Amaranth Enchantment by Julie Berry. LOVED it! Kind of a spin-off of a Cinderella tale but to me much more entertaining. I gave it five stars and put it as a favorite! It was that good!! Now I am reading Coffeehouse Angel by Suzanne Selfors.

Hey Niki! How's your classes coming? Busy still? Did you do anything for the Halloween weekend? I had a good time! I'm tired though from the time change!! LOL. Oh, I finished reading Raven... very easy, fast read. It was an okay book... nothing special, but nothing bad. I got a new dog over the weekend. He's a great dane.. HUGE dog! We call him Brutus.

Started The Eternal Kiss which is just a bunch of short stories from popular YA authors. It's really good but I've been stopping between stories to read Are We There Yet by David Leviathin which is really good too but I haven't had any quality time it read lately!!
    What about you?

No prob. I completely understand the being busy part!! Life does get ridiculously busy and sometimes it can be way overwhelming. This weekend will be a busy one for me... with Halloween and all!! I'd love to read Ballad sometime soon myself. Rampant is a fun read. It's a bit crazy though! It's about evil unicorns!!! LOL. They attack and they are gruesome and attack unicorn hunters and so forth! Yeah, it sounds pretty silly but it's actually a good read. The author did a great job writing it!! It's definitely for those people into fantasy reads. And Raven by Allison Van Diepen is a really easy, fast read. I'm just about finished reading it and that surprises me because usually it takes me a while to finish a book with all the things going on, you know. It's another fantasy read and I'm really liking it. Anyway, enjoy your weekend and have fun!! Talk later!!
