I'm the publicist for Ulysses Press, an independent publisher in Berkeley, California. We publish about fifty books a year, almost exclusively nonfiction. I want to get a feel for how readers are responding to our titles and dive into the debates our books provoke.

Ulysses Press started in 1983 with the publication of Hidden Hawaii, written by publisher Ray Riegert. Hidden Hawaii became an underground classic for travelers seeking a more authentic Hawaii. The guide's success launched the Hidden series, which now includes over 40 travel guides.

In the 1990s we began to publish a variety of titles on alternative health, fitness and spirituality for adults and teens. Recently our book _Mugglenet.com's What Will Happen In Harry Potter 7_ spent 24 weeks on the NY Times Bestseller list. « less
