Reading has been my passion since I was a child...
and now it's my addiction...
I usually prefer sci-fi , mystery kinda novels but once in a while a good romcom too

Boooh, I only saw your note now... 10 months later! :(

But you should definitely try Robin Hobb! I would recommend this one: http://www.shelfari.com/books/32920/Assassins-Apprentice
First book I read by that author and it remains my Hobb-favourite!
It's also the first book you want to read if you want to do it chronologically.
Farseer -] Liveship -] Tawny Man -] Rain Wild
Didn't very much like the Liveship series but I might give it another try before I start reading Rain Wild. :)

Except that the writers of Lost admitted that they wrote themselves into a corner and Snicket actually had a purpose for his method :) hence why I end up loving SoUE and hating Lost lol.

hi..i liked both the books..revo2020 is fast paced, and u wont be satisfied till u get to the last page.but once u finish reading it u will forget it at the same pace.nothing new abt the story except the back drop..Varanasi.
as for meluha..i read the sequel also..the secrets of naga..its an entirely different scenario..u r familiar with all the characters much before u read this story.but u look at them from a new angle..celestial beings in human form..its not an ordinary feat to convince the reader..abt this ..lord neelakanth as a tribal man walking this earth..i found it very interesting and waiting for the ..oath of vayuputra..the last one in this Shiva trilogy..

The John Grisham book that I liked the most was his first "A Time to Kill". It is rather a tear jerker but I enjoyed it. I also liked "King of Torts" and "The Firm".

It depends on the type of book you want to read. Acctually I am quite fond of the book because I could identify with the character Rosie Dunne. If you're looking for a cute and annoying love story, predictible in the end that will only make you go out of your mind with how stupid people can be when in love, this is the book for you. It's not written in a boring maner and the characters are acctually really cute built. Hope you'll like it. I did. The ending annoyed me a lot but I understood that it had to be that way to keep your interest in the book. A commercial love story meant for teenage girls, it resembles a soap, however it doesn't have all the drama of a soap which acctually makes it quite good seeming as I just can't stand soaps but I enjoyed the book.

However if you like sci-fi, mystery novels I recommend "Darker than you think" or "The house of thunder"

I would say "If you could see me now" and "when rainbows end". I love them both!

Don't even bother with "a place called here". I literally despise it :P And I know quite a few who did as well.

    Hi Udayk! How you doing?
I just got through few chapters of the book and quite like what I've been reading so far.
However, I still have a lot to go, so we'll see how it goes!
How's the second installment goes? You like it?

Welcome to the group, 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die. There is a general explanation of the group under guidelines and the book(s) of the month that the group is reading are pinned to the top. I hope you will be able to enjoy the group and perhaps join in one or more of the monthly reads. We will be picking a new book soon. Usually occurs around this time. We will be choosing from authors whose last names start with L.
