“Anna In-Between is an intimate look into the lives of Anna, expatriate of an un-named Caribbean island, her mother who has advanced breast cancer and her father who has just begun to acknowledge the disease. The novel looks at the things one leaves behind in the search for professional opportunity and what one can and cannot claim when they return. The novel examines the relationships between mother and daughter, daughter and father and husband and wife. The novel also examines colonialism and its effect on the Caribbean underclass. ”
