I'm a Southern transplant living in Brooklyn. I don't read as many books as I'd like, but maybe this will spur me on to remedy that.

    I am the Moon everywhere and nowhere.
    Do not seek me outside;
    I abide in your very life.
    Everybody calls you towards himself;
    I invite you nowhere except to yourself.
    Poetry is like the boat and its meaning is like the sea:
    Come onboard at once!
    Let me sail this boat!

    Well then, sounds like I will have to read Kitchen Confidential. I kind of tore through all the Evanovich, Stephanie Plum novels. Started in June with book 1 and just finished 12 about 2 weeks ago. I'm not from the Trenton area but I could relate being from Jersey. I loved Sophie Kinsella's book too, Confessions of a shopaholic. Have you read it?

    You lucky lucky girl, married to a chef! My earliest recollections of ravioli was of my Italian grandmother making homemade in her farmhouse kitchen with her sisters. And her sauce
    ~ I could never duplicate it. But it was simply wonderful. You can't get pizza in middle Tennessee that tastes anything like New Jersey but I recently heard about a new place called Angelo's Picnic that is supposed to be New York Style not far from where I live.

    Thank you for your kind words about my review! Means alot to me. I've always been shy in the past about posting comments.

    The most memorable meal I've ever attempted in my own kitchen is the Beef Bourguignon from The New Basics Cookbook by Julee Rosso and Sheila Lukins. It was one of the most perfect things I've ever tasted if I do say so myself! :)

    Well have a fabulous weekend and please share me some of your
    gastronomical adventures.

    I see you like Steven King. I read The Shining years ago. I've still not listed every single book I've ever read on this website. Takes time! But it's a great site and looking at your shelf kind of jogged my memory of some I had forgotten.

    Kitchen Confidential looks interesting. Did you like it?

    bye for now,
    Lindie
