I dont believe in THE END. There's no end to a story. the story lives on, in our minds, on the pages and now, on the internet. A story is the most immortal thing...more »

Hi Sahil, how are you doing? I can see you've been doing a lot of reading lately!! On your recommendation I got to read the Kite Runner and loved it, though it was really sad!

    Are you on fb?

    Hello Sahil!

I've downloaded the folder you sent me but I'm sorry to say that I can't seem to open the files you sent me. What type of program do you use to open them? I can only open jpg and other image files on my computer.

Hope to hear from you soon. Have a nice day.

I am glad you are better now.
Teaching ESL has been a very stressful job for me and I get depress sometimes because of it, so I decided to quit. I am taking some courses in office and business management, I plan to start a business within the next three years.

I haven’t been reading as many books as I wish, this month I’ve read
Me and Mr. Darcy by Alexandra Potter
    Atonement by Ian McEwan
To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf
    The Narrows by Michael Connelly

Right now I am reading “A Knight in Shining Armor” by Jude Deveraux and I am loving it. Next I am going to read “The Host” by Stephenie Mayer, I am so looking forward to it, have you read it?

Wow, "The Inheritance of Loss" seems very interesting...I read the review on Amazon. It seems to have similar themes to V.S.Naipaul who concerns himself a lot with ideas of exile and the relation between the "First world" and the "Third world" and post colonialism...I'd read it. Right now I'm mostly reading material for school, but I really want to read Zadie Smith's "On Beauty" very soon.

Oh I have intentions of reading A Grain of Wheat; I haven't read it yet. I intend to because the other work I have read by Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o, Devil On The Cross is a work of sheer brilliance! You might try reading that one, if you will.

And yes, I agree that the story was too complicated. Not in a "you're not intelligent to get it way" but in the way that someone dresses and puts on every piece of clothing, jewellery and accessory in their possession: it's all too much though each individual piece may have some value and be pretty in of its self.

I think it was boring too! I find that with books deemed 'good writing' people are hesitant to critique it. Possession had little to no tension, and thus provided its readers with little motivation to keep going. What was to keep us there? It seemed to me to be a self-indulgent work. it seems rather like a very dry research project.

    Hello Sahil!

Our DSLR-A200 was bought by my father. It's a family camera but since I'm the family's official photographer, I'm the one who mostly uses it. Just send them over to me. I do some minor editing too. What program do you use? I use Adobe Photoshop CS3.

    Have a nice day!
