From one educator to another, I really like your book choices. I really must read "Who moved my cheese" soon, I've heard lots of people raving about it.

The Hunger Games is a great trilogy and great for 8th graders. I also like The Giver trilogy. I just finished reading it for an adol. lit class I'm taking for my CAS. I think the Hunger Games definitely seems to be the cooler book to be reading now, more so than Harry Potter. Great story and characters.

I am on FB. I shall have to check it out. I just finished reading the Lost Symbol and just posted by review. It was ok. I would rather read the 2nd installment of Steig Larrson's trilogy. Now his first book was interesting reading.

Will you go again next summer? It must have been fun having a teacher's only component.

    Michael,

IU haven't been good about checking this site. I am in the middle of our sixth week of school already and looking toward parent teacher conferences next week. I have a great group this year and am excited about the way they are receptive to new things. They make great connections. I have used a couple of ideas already from your book Classroom. THey have loved them.
