There's no such thing as a writer that doesn't write. I constantly remind myself of that little homily. I am an aspiring published author, but spend most of my time managing my life as a program manager in the telecommunications industry and raising three children.

Walter Mosley's new book, The Right Mistake, is another (good) one about Socrates Fortlow. I love Walter Mosley's books (most of them). Socrates is a character who I just can't seem to let go. Thanks for the compliment on my shelf. Is there such a thing as a black bibliophile?

Hello, what is "no problem," are you the writer of the post about the womans book, if you are you are, your welcome to put it on our shelf as it is dealing with womans issues, but honest it is not good just on the womans post page and we must keep the group woman only or woman will not feel free to discuss personal private issues,

    Hi Tyrone,
Just thought I'd drop you a note reminding you that now would be a good time to query a few magazines pitching a personal essay you could write for October when African Americans commemorate the Million Man March. Most magazines have a six month lead time, according to Writer's Market, but go on and pitch it now. Also consider pitching community newspapers about two weeks before the Oct. 15 anniversary. I think your reflections would be particularly interesting.

    Have a great week!
