I am the author of the dolphin story Ripple, which is available on Amazon as an e-book for $2.99.
I am a previously published author of children's books, stories, and poetry. Most were published through NZ educational publishing channels, but some has been distributed internationally.
Ripple is my first novel, first e-book and first self-published book.
I'm an animal lover and live in the country near Mt Pirongia which is south-west of Hamilton in the Waikato in New Zealand. I'm a keen cyclist. I have an enormous cat called Phoebe. My website is here:

I read all sorts of fiction books, but mostly I enjoy stories that are really different and intriguing. Some of my all-time favourite reads are "The Time Traveller's wife" by Audrey Niffenegger, "The Life of Pi" by Yann Martel and the "Bone People" by Keri Hulme. I also love many of the old classic stories like all the Bronte's, Jane Austen, Thomas Hardy and too many others to list here. "Whale Rider" by Witi Ihimaera is another favourite. I can be moved instantly to tears by a single sudden line of great poetry but find little to admire in most modern poetry. It's only the long dead poets who have the power to move me. Not sure why this is. My favourite of all is Coleridge.
