This has got to be my favorite in the entire Princess Diaries series. After the first two books, you are really rooting for Mia and Michael to get together. Will they? Won't they? All that romantical drama is what I live for! I practically squealed the whole way through.

This is a great addition to the Princess Diaries series. The one thing I would love to do is shake Princess Mia a little. She lets people walk all over her, notably her 'friend' Lilly and her grandmere. Let's hope that she gets some backbone by the end of the series.

My only real gripe about this book is with Mia, the narrator. She does a lot of worrying about what other people think, or of what might happen, but she rarely does anything about it. She doesn't talk to her boyfriend about important things, and she lets people like her grandmere and her friend Lilly walk all over her.

Besides that, I love the journal format to this series, and it makes for a swift read. It seems that it could be plausibly written by a teenager.

This is a great way to learn a lot (that may or may not be fictitious) about the catholic and christian religion. Beyond all of that, though, it's just a really fun read. It's like Ocean's 11 or National Treasure, but about religion.

The narrator finds clues and is on a chase all over Europe to find the truth, from France to England. I definitely enjoyed it.

I don't think this book is all it's cracked up to be. It's sited as 'creating' the chick lit genre, yet it falls completely flat.

For instance, there is a random chapter in the middle of the book that is narrated by a completely different character about people we've never heard about and will never hear about again.

I read this for a book club and almost everyone in my group (of around 15) didn't even realize that that chapter wasn't about the main characters at all.

The writing was quick and easy, but still not up to par.
