Before I get to the "official" bio, I have to say I'm ADDICTED to books. It would take me forever to list all of them on Shelfari. But I did put the books I wrote under my "favorites" ... just to make them easy to be found! (And there are my other real favorites listed, too.)

I love fiction, parenting, marriage, and Christian life... more »

    Tricia,

    Thanks for the Invite!

I too am pondering writing a book. So any insight or advice you have would be great!

I am in involved in Women's Ministry, Former Worship Leader, and wrote a Daily Devotional for 6 years called "Verse of the Day". I recently halted most of my service in ministry to have my children ( God did not give them to us earlier in life) But we are so blessed to have te a son 3 and daughter 13 mos.

I look forward to chatting with you and sharing how God is working in our lives.

Hi Tricia...thanks for the invite. Best book I've read lately has got to be Redeeming Love. I haven't checked your massive shelf to see if it's there but if it's not, you'd love it! Out of all you've written, what do you humbly think is your best work?

    Hi Tricia

Glad to meet your acquaintence. I am familiar with many of your books as a former bookseller. Currently in my role with the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association, I have become more familiar with many of the people you work with on the editorial side of things. Thanks for the invite!

I wish that I had more time to read. Right now a lot of my time is spent in getting things together for my daughter's wedding in late November. What are you reading?

i am reading quite a few at the moment..haha..gracepoints, conversations with millionares and california dream. interesting mix i know...you can see the details of the books on my reading list. so far....grace points has been pretty deep personally....i am reading it because i spoke last week at a conference with this lady and she gave me her book...it's good....i wish i would of had it a year ago....i feel like i am in a good spot so it's kind of "off" timing wise...but i am sure i will return to it next time i am in a rough spot. soo...what about you?

    Hi Tricia,
    Welcome to my world.
    Congrats on your contract.
Please think about adding Guilty to your shelf.
It's a love with inspiration, genealogy, and a sassy grandma.

Hey Tricia, nice to meet ya! Congrats on your writing success! I'll have to check out your books. I'm a counselor in Portland who specifically works with women who have survived childhood sexual abuse. Would any of your books be inspirations or helpful to that population -- themes of redemption are good... Thanks, Catherine

    Hi Tricia,

Thanks for inviting me to be your friend. I look forward to getting to know one another. I have not had alot of time to be on these days....work has been 10-12 hour days. Hopefully I will get a chance to be on some this weekend. Anyways, just wanted to say thanks and I pray that your week is a blessed one.

Tricia, thanks for inviting me to be your friend! I haven't made the time yet to post the zillion books I like or explore all that's going on here in Shelfari, but I really want to. And as you say in your bio, a lot of what I read is research for writing, so not necessarily interesting to the rest of the world. Anyway, thanks for connecting! More soon I hope...
