One wacky librarian who is way too busy for his own good.

I was born and raised in Rhode Island. I was the Young Adult Librarian at the Greenville Public Library for almost 13 years before taking a position as the Assistant Director and Technology Coordinator at the Cumberland Public Library. I am also the Chair of the Rhode Island Teen Book Award Committee, which selects about 20 nominee books each year for teens to read and use to select a winner. I also sit a member of the Board of Trustees for the Jesse M. Smith Memorial Library in Burrillville. I teach Adolescent Literature at Rhode Island College as an adjunct instructor. I teach Public Library Services for Children and Young Adults, Public Library Services, and Reading Interests of Young Adults at the University of Rhode Island's Graduate School of Library and Information Studies, which is where I received my Masters of Library and Information Science in May 2000. « less
