More exciting news at the Suspense & Thrillers Group…as you might already know that Keith Katsikas, author of “2060: The Newton Prophecies” will be leading a discussion on his book. We don’t have a date set up yet, but will in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, Amanda Stevens, author of THE DOLLMAKER, has also agreed to lead the discussion for May’s Group Read, which is THE DOLLMAKER. I’m really excited as this is something new and might become a new trend with our group discussions. If you’ve already read the book, come join us. If not, see if you can grab a copy. There’s still time as the discussion won’t begin until the first week of May.
Dear Tiffany: If you enjoy a good thrill ride when you read, you may be interested in my new book, HUNTING THE KING. HUNTING hit the bookstores just last week. Watch the YouTube book trailer It's intense. Here are the details on the book:HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O’Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: “Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can’t come too soon.” Molly O’Dwyer is an in-your-face woman with a mysterious background who’s about to go on the adventure of a lifetime. As I said, to get a good sense of how powerful the book is, check out the heart-pounding booktrailer on YouTube or on my web site at www.peterclenott.com. It is like watching a preview for an exciting movie. The novel is equally exciting. If you can’t get to your local bookstore, you can find it on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and Kunati Books. I hope you’ll take a look. And let me know what you think. You can talk to Molly on her blog at http://gospelofhannaniah.blogspot.com.Thanks. Peter.
I hope you will take the time to view my YouTube book trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-t0K34iU6g. I am doing some research about potential characters to play the lead role in the upcoming movie. Hope you can help me out. As Ralph Eggleston Director/Production Designer of Pixar Animation Studios said,"I LOVED the book! It's a missing, ENDLESSLY fascinating link to the history of Hollywood. Thank you for researching and writing it!! I hope it's been widely well received, as it deserves to be." Best wishes. Gaelyn
For the Suspense & Thrillers Group…So many themed challenges are popping up; it seems unfair that there isn’t one for the Suspense & Thriller genre. To put an end to this, we are starting our own. Details are being discussed on the Suspense & Thrillers Group. Hope you’ll stop by.
For the Suspense & Thrillers Group…We’ll be starting on our February Group Read: The Water's Lovely by Ruth Rendell. I’ll start posting questions on the 1st, but you are welcome to join in anytime. Also, we are planning a buddy read with Beautiful Lies by Lisa Unger. Buddy Reads work just as the Group Reads. Group discussion will also begin on the 1st of February. Wow - it’s gonna be a busy month! Hope you can join in.
I have the same "plea" for attention too. Ringo comes and sits on all magazines that I'm reading. They are such funny creatures!
It's hard to find others who are Trixie fans! Thanks for the invite!
