Hi Tracy! Niagara Falls was fantastic! What an incredible site! You must definitely come here. New York State has done a wonderful job of presenting NF. It's very clean and the park rangers are nice and polite. I even recruited the young girl who waited on me in the gift shop to Shelfari! Saw her reading on her lunch break and went and gave her a sale pitch on Shelfari. She seemed interested and wrote the name down! I wouldn't recommend this campground for the reasons stated before. But you definitely must see NF! Sorry you have to work so hard! Hugs, Becca

Good morning! We should all meet in real life and let Alicia dress us any way she likes! As long as there are plenty of BPBs! IMHO you work too much! Hope you get some time for yourself this weekend! We are at a KOA campground on Grand Island, near Niagara Falls. So far I'm not overly impressed. It's okay, but it appears they have no "quiet time" like they did in Lake George (10 pm to 8 am). There were people outside talking pretty loudly last night when we went to bed at 11. Guess I'll just have to get used to that sort of thing. We're also near a major highway--can hear traffice. It's not easy for a country girl such as myself! LOL! But it looks clean. Maybe I was just too tired yesterday. Besides all the activities at our camground in Lake George I must have seen at least 6 minateur golf courses--I love those. Do your twins? Think I may take a little nap. Yesterday's trip wore us both out!

Hello, hello!!! (Alicia waves towards what she thinks is Concord, but it's really FL) I so enjoyed our nice long conversation last night! Do you still feel like you're running ragged? Today any better?Today was busy for me. Gary insisted I actually do some company work (GASP!) & so I was forced to look busy for an hour or 2. Then I baked cookies for the spa. Peggy brought her granddog, a Shitzu named Kirby, over to play w/ Luke & Izzy. Luke tried to eat Kirby & Isabelle hid, scared to death of this lil walking mop! Feed Peggy lunch - fresh tomatoes from our garden - YUM - then off to the spa. They were so appreciative they gave me some wine to drink - which I didn't turn down of course. LOLMore company this week. ~sigh~ Phyllis is coming. I'm glad, but so tired of entertaining. I just want to read or even watch mindless TV. Anyway, give yourself a hug.

Do you know about the stir caused by Wally Lamb helping some female inmates learning to write? I don't know if that made national news or not, but I know it made the headlines at home. He published a book of writings by female inmates (can't remember the name of the book) and the powers that be cancelled his program--these women weren't supposed to profit from their writing! Sometimes "the powers that be" can be dumber than a rock! I don't know whatever became of the controversy.This is a great RV park, hugh, clean, all sorts of things to do--just too rainy to do them! It's pricey at $75 a night for full hookups and pull-through. But you have kids and there are all sorts of things going on here. BTW, it's the Lake George RV Park. They have movie nights, bingo and more I can't remember.
I am reading the Memiors of Cleopatra right now and so far I can't think about anything else!
