hey tosh.... well, we're talking offline now... so that is cool.... i'm really glad we have found eachother, so is Mark! I used to be the publisher of Lumen Editions, which i founded also, and we published Harry Mathews, Jean Echenoz, Mark Polizzotti (bien sur), Marguerite Duras (the last book she ever wrote) and we were signed to publish Paul Bowles as well.... I could go on and on but it's all out there on the Internet if you want to find out; it's too easy to Google me..... ack. I'm glad we've connected.... ; )
hi Tosh, we have very very similar interests in the Dada and Surrealist movements. My husband is also a big Surrealist follower and wrote the biography of Andre Breton - Revolution of the Mind (Mark Polizzotti). I'd love to chat with you if you would like to also.... I am presently writing a book about Lewis Carroll which is to be published next June, which ties him in with the Surrealist movement (Aragon, Breton, more...). No doubt, you could likely fill in all sorts of blanks and are a wealth of information that would be of great benefit (for full credit) - so the Surrealists were big Carrollians as was Henry Miller (also a Surrealist follower) so there's a real chain there..... anyway, let's connect... hope so... s.r.p.
