Hi TJ. Ive read The Appeal by John Grisham, and I would like to recommend it to you (in case you havent read it yet) Its a great book and it has all the ingredients from the past grisham fictions. Ive finished the book in 3 days (or is it 4). My wife was teasing me that Ive already replaced her with The Appeal! LOL! Anyway, if you loved the other grisham fictions, you'll surely like The Appeal!

Strangely, the morgue wasn't on the orientation tour :) We have not moved back in the library yet (computers are still unplugged from the sewage incident), So this week I am on the 2nd floor, away from the dead bodies (I hope).

My daughter just had to read "Girl with Pearl Earring" for her summer reading list, so I'm going to borrow it from her - thanks for the tip! Keep the historical fiction recommendations coming...

I miss you, too, and and I'm glad you invited me to be your book friend!

Yep, we definitely have a lot of books in common. Astrologers, lesbians, feminists... This site is very addictive, but I still haven't downloaded about half my books. A few at a time!

Thanks for joining the Suspense & Thrillers group! Love having new members. Though it might be on page 4 of the discussions, there is a spot for introductions as well as members who’d like updates, so jump in at any time.

There are several pages of threads in this group. When you have the time, go back over them. See if you can add a comment or two. We’d love to hear what you think.

Each month we have a group read. Those threads are saved for new members joining, in case they’d like to add their input.

We’re finishing up our first group read of January 2008. It’s “The Missing” by Chris Mooney. What a great book! If you can get a copy, please join us in the discussion.

On February 1st, we started our February Group Read: The Water's Lovely by Ruth Rendell. Questions were posted on the 1st, but you are welcome to join in anytime. Our current Buddy Read is “City of Masks: A Cree Black Novel” by Daniel Hecht and Beautiful Lies by Lisa Unger. Buddy Reads work just as the Group Reads. It’s a busy month! Hope you can join in.

We also have something new. It’s a Suspense & Thriller Challenge. More can be found on the group or at http://suspense-thriller-challenge.blogspot.com/ We even have a Yahoo Group for this at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/suspense-thriller-challenge/

If you have any questions, please let me know!
