I love your Matt Bomer avi. He is my Roarke, and one of my favorite actors. Yum!
Are you still enjoying the In Death[/b) series?
Thanks for joining J. D. Robb Rules! I know you've already introduced yourself but everyone gets a personal welcome:)
I invite you to go through the discussion topics throughout the site and feel comfortable in adding your own comments, especially the book discussions. Be careful, though, of the character threads as they are intended for those who have read the entire series.
Welcome!
I've read Nicholas Sparks and james North Patterson and certainly Gone with the Wind. I keep most of my reading to mystery & suspense and I like to specialize on the great finds readers can get for only $.99-$2.99 on Kindle books. I review what I read here on Shelfarie.
Lol! No problem Amy. Hopefully it is better than 1 star read when we do manage to get to it. :)
Hi Amy! I noticed you gave the first Vampire Academy book 1 star. I've been thinking about trying out this series but I've heard mixed reviews about it. What was it that you didn't like about it?
Did you read on Jenny's blog that she wants James Earl Jones to read the audio version of her new book? Hilarious!
Hi Amy, I noticed you were planning to read one of the October Daye's books, what do you think of the series so far...I have been really enjoying them, but can't figure out what she is going to do with her shade, and I think I am in love with the King of Cats lol
Slaughterhouse Five: thumbs down.
It was strange and intriguing at first, and I wondered where the plot was going to go. Well, it didn't go anywhere! The book abruptly ended, and I was left scratching my head. It was probably full of deep, symbolic meaning that totally missed the mark with me.
Is this where I can pick up hot nerdy girls? I like books. You like books. Let's burn books with our passion. Text 3456 for free dish towels.
yeah it does look awesome!! cant wait!! if u go to Chloe Neill's website she is doing a contest to win the book. i would try it!! i did!
Yeah it does get better!! I was the same way with Some Girls Bite..... it took me a while to get through it, just cuz it was new!! I havent seen the cover for the 6th one yet!! Just wait til u get to the end of Hard Bitten.... u might want tissues if u get emotional with books!!
Well i think u will like it....i know how it is when it comes to kids... i deal with a 5 year old all day long!! lol
How are u liking Some Girls Bite? i am on Hard Bitten which is the 4th book.
Let me know what you think if you read Penn Jilette's book. He was interviewed on Bob and Tom this week, and his book sounds really different. Not sure if it's my thing or not. He got a pretty good review in the paper recently. Did you read The Shack? It has religious overtones (it's fiction though), and I was one of the few people who just didn't care for it at all. I'm sure this one is much different from that though.
I wouldn't exactly call it a cliffhanger. More just a hint of what's to come in the next book(s).
It is such a shame they have put the date for Kate 6 back to 2013. We are getting a full length Andrea novel next year instead though which hopefully will be good. It's hard to get quite so excited about spin-offs though...
Hiya,
You seem to be enjoying the Kate Daniels series. Magic Strikes is probably my favourite of the series. I just loved the Midnight Games storyline.
Hope you enjoy Magic Bleeds as well :)
I'm thinking about writing my own book called "Please Don't Touch My Cabbage."
