I haven't got this book with me for a lng time because someone borrowed it from me. But, as far as I can remember it's not as good as the one I currently have in front of me PSYCHOLOGY - Henry Gleitman. oth are the sort ofa Compendium of allthe subjects that one is expectd to study before electing some chapter your choice. If you are stating on the paths of Psychology I strongly advise you to start with this - I have got 5th edition: it's very, very good!
Now that I've researched so much about Happiness/Felicidad before I decided to write "Cometa-Last Queen of Sheba", a novel of the New Era, sometimes it comes to my mind that ther's nothing as pertinent as this approach in ordr to understand human journeying on the Planet Earth.

The book on my shelf is the original in Portuguese. "AUTO-ENGANO" (SELF-DECEIPT). Eduardo Ginnetti is a Brasilian professor at the University of Sao Paulo. A friend of mine called Lucianne DaSilva Coelho brought it to me from Brasil. She is from Sao Paulo as well. This is a masterpiece. I've also browsed through the English vsion which I found at LMUniv library. Eduardo Giannetti tells it quite articulately about all those automatic trics we play on ourselves as we understand it's the best way to keep going.

It's a classic!!!!! It makes one laugh and think. Don Quijote can b the model or archetype for many variants of fiction literature based on human sel-deceipt behaviour and our play along our ideals, avoiding the so called harsh realities

TOB - Traduction Oecumenique de la Bible, Editions du Cerf, Paris: that's the Bible (in FRENCH) I currently have on my shelf. I have owned different editions of theBible - In Latin, in Spanish, in Portuguese, In English, Classical Greek... I can't read Hebrew, NO, I'm afraid! But this one - TOB - is very good. Anyway, if you are a serious student of Biblical exegesis the BIBLE OF JERUSALEM is a must!
