hi, there's great book swapping happening at www.bookmooch.com. it has a forum here at shelfari, at http://www.shelfari.com/groups/23735/about.

bookmooch is a site that lets you give away the books you don't want anymore and get the books you Really Want to&from bookmooch members all over the world!

joining is free. you don't spend to get the books but you will have to pay postage to send internationally. with sea mail, you won't be damaged so much though (80/thin book, 150 up for heavier books).

    hope you join!

i used Jacques Derrida primarily for my thesis in college (2 years ago)... especially his notion on speech and writing, logocentrism and binary structures. he is indeed brilliant and great but definitely i would seriously take your advice Father... thank you...

Good day, Fr. Tony! It was a pleasure being in your History class. Can I sit in your class this semester? I believe the schedule is the same as our class last semester. Anyway, that's all. God bless! :)

I saw the author of "Jazz Age Catholicism" at a conference. He impressed me, so I thought his book would do. So far it has.

Seems like we have a lot of the same books! Yeah, Vanhoozer is great. From sitting in his classes several years ago, it was rather nice to watch the D of D develop, from his interest in dramaturgy to his interest in von Balthasar. I figure it will get used more in protestant schools and RC institutions.

Yeah, Rowan Williams.. I used to be in a reading group that was started, at first, just to read his books. Too bad that didn't last. My favorite by him so far is Anglican Identities, but I hear The Wound of Knowledge is pretty good.
