    Hey Toni -

Thanks for casting your ballot for the Christian fiction read in Women of Faith. The top choice is “Healing Stones” by Nancy Rue and Stephen Arterburn. I'll post the first discussion question on August 1st. Hope you can join us!

I know what you mean, to the younger generations marriage is totally disposable. I'm afraid our generation set the stage for that. With more than 50 percent of marriages ending in divorce, we made divorce look acceptable. I will definitely pray for your situation. Would you mind if I posted your request in the group?

I hope you will take the time to view my YouTube book trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-t0K34iU6g. I am doing some research about potential characters to play the lead role in the upcoming movie. Hope you can help me out. As Ralph Eggleston Director/Production Designer of Pixar Animation Studios said,
"I LOVED the book! It's a missing, ENDLESSLY fascinating link to the history of Hollywood. Thank you for researching and writing it!! I hope it's been widely well received, as it deserves to be." Best wishes. Gaelyn

Hi Toni, Actually I haven't read Middlesex yet. It's on my pile of books to read but it keeps being pushed down... I've been buying a lot of books since last fall. Being on this website has opened new horizons for me. I've discovered a lot of new authors and I am enjoying that tremendously. If I start reading a book and I don't get into it, I just toss it. There's too many books and too little time. I want to enjoy the time I spend reading so I don't bother with boring books. I haven't read 7th Heaven yet either. Let me know if you find something interesting... Happy Readings to you too ! Claire

    Hi Toni~

Have not read _Exile_; in fact, I don't know that I've read anything by Patterson. Don't know that he's my cup of tea. What do you think is good about it? Or are just trying to decide if it will be good?

it's a good thing...lots of disparity, lots of kids would want help....on the other note, I am a borders fan, less B&N, although there is very little difference between the two.

Hi Toni, I didn't buy Patterson's latest books and I too have been disappointed with the books I have read after the Women's Murder Club series.
Did you watch the TV series on that ? I recorded some but haven't watched any yet...
I'm not much of a TV fan besides a couple of shows and some food TV when I have time...

I agree with you about being a grandmother. It is so much fun to read to them. I take my grandson to the library every week.
