Tomoko

Tomoko

I've had to move many times during the last few years and I had to give up a lot of my books along the way. So for me this is a way to remember the books I used to own, or simply the books I've read in the past.

Me too, I've lost a ton of books along the way, and browsing other people's shelves reminds me of things I read decades ago!

    hi tomoko,
I noticed you mentioned moving and leaving books. Do you know bookcrossings? This way you can "send your books on a vacation" and atleast hope someday they will come back to you!
Much more fun than paying postage through your nose I say.
    Cheerio,

    Hi Tomoko,
Regarding my avatar, thanks. I don’t think anyone else noticed the match! As far as Kenzaburo Oe goes, it has been several years since I read his books that I like, but _Teach Us to Outgrow Our Madness_ is a classic I’d recommend. On the other hand, I would not recommend the last Oe book I read, _Somersault_. It was interesting in the beginning, but became rather tedious.

I'm a bit behind on my FMA reading, but I really like it better then the anime. The ending to it was so frustrating, and I didn't feel like the movie gave a satisfactory either. But do read the manga :) What I have managed to read is very good.
