“A Dog's Play
Troy, Brian, Ron, and James are 4 individually men who undergo different crisis that challenge their personal and spiritual self-being, each one must overcome personal demons, resist temptations, and try not to make bad decisions, but now their coming up against some test of manhood.
Troy and his wife Deanna have been married for some time now, one looking on the outside would think being married to a doctor, the glamours house, and children, that all is well, but being on the inside nothing is as it seems as Troy's present and past catches up to him, especially Kelly one of his flings that anounces a celebration that sure to make fireworks.
Troy's best friend Brian has his own demons to face, he's a fine brother that indulges into many women whom love to throw themselves at him, but it takes a while for Brian to see love was always in his face, but more importantly will love remain and forgive him when a precious gift arrives?
Ron thought that being with the "in crowd" was in, but there's one problem, the "in crowd" within himself is causing him self-destruction, not only on hisself but his family. How far will Ron go to almost lose everything?
James had a family, but he chose the streets and all that it had to offer. Will there be open arms to give him another chance or will the streets pull him in more?
He Looked Like A Man Until He Barked, tells the story of lies, betrayal, and infedelity. There were many issues involved, and good Christian values were instilled. I can say the story started out good, but somewhere it took a turn from the story and told more from a narrative point, instead of letting the characters play the part, and keeing the reader engrossed. There's lessons to be learned for the male and female throughout this novel, and I'm sure belong the way the reader will pick up quite many.
