I really want to read The Walking Dead now that I've seen you've given it 5 stars? Have you read any of the D.L. Snell anthologies?I just got the first volume. If you've read it, is it as good as The Walking Dead?
Hello :) Sorry for the late reply. I've been in outerspace lately and was unable to get internet signal. LOL. -___- Anyways, I should definitely check out those books you recommended. As for me.. I've been, like you, underwhelmed by the books I've read so far. But, whenever I feel like that, I turn to the classics. At least you know that those books are worth something for them to become classics, right? I can suggest books for you, but I don't really know what you like to read, so I'll just go ahead and suggest anyway. haha. If you're really into action-packed with a bit of romance type of book, I suggest THE HUNGER GAMES by Suzanne Collins. But if you're one of those "general fiction" kind of guy, there's 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez (if you haven't read that) or The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand (another classic).
Nothing makes sense at all in Naked Lunch.I can stay for 1+ hour on just 1 paragraph and still it won't be enough =/ I have no idea what he's talking about. His writing style is also confusing. He writes in the past then the next sentence is in the future then he goes back to the past.. I really can't explain but he's driving me crazy. Because I can't leave a book unfinished once I pick it for reading. I have to finish the book no matter what.
Hey! Are there any good books you've read lately?
Happy birthday buddy.
Te amo. : )
