You did a disservice to readers in your review of Passage by Connie Willis in giving away such an important event as Joanna's death.

    Hello Liz,

A Passing Curse was upgraded a few days ago and I am writing to see if you received your new copy via email. Not all the copies needed the upgrade, in fact, it might have been very few.

Also, besides the new cover and one formatting issue, a few scenes were rewritten for clarity. Overall, however, it is still the same story--a good man and bad man get in a fight over a girl. In this case, the girl is not the girl next door (if she was you might want to move) but a woman known throughout the archeology world for beheading three Serbian soldiers who tried to rape her and possibly killing another archeologist who just happened to be her fiance’. Once our heroine returns from demoralizing the Transylvanian city of Villaraceu, much of the action takes place in a California mission/beach town.

The good man is a retired homicide cop taken to drink and pills (aren’t they all) on the trail of a serial killer which leads him to the bad man who is a billionaire harboring the belief that he is 1200 years old. Yeah, it even sounds complicated to me (billionaire serial killer with vampire pretensions, cop with a history, tomb explorer with an attitude) and I took notes. Still, I would be happy to answer any questions or comments you might have.

    Thanks, Corey

    Hi!
Hope you don’t mind this notification. Shelfari indicates that you have an edition of my novel Pagan Moon. If you acquired the Kindle edition prior to October 2012, you have a terribly formatted copy. I wanted to notify you that a reformatted edition will be offered FREE from February 15 through February 19 of 2013.

Its latest review is posted at: http://seeleyjamesreviews.booktrib.com/reviews/reivew-pagan-moon/

    Thanks again for your interest.

If you've ended up with a lot of messages from me, thanking you for downloading my book, then sorry about that. There seems to be a problem with ... something on their end, I don't know. I kept trying and none of my comments showed. If not then ...

Thank you for your interest in "FILE 3297". Sorry it took me this long to leave you a message. I'm in the middle of reshuffling my schedule due to a recent shift in my career dynamic. (I got laid off.) The good news is that I have more time to finish the second book in the series "FILE 31410: Pioneer Courthouse Square". Which I should probably get back to doing.
P.S.- Don't be shy to tell me what you think of the book.

Shelfari tells me you have THE NOSTALGIA GAMBIT on your shelf. If you like far future, character-driven science fiction, I think you will like it. If not, I'd love to know what you didn't like.

    Hi Liz,
I'm the author of Cry from a Silent Planet.
If you liked the book, you couldn't possibly put up a review on the Amazon sales page could you.
    It would really help me.
And thanks so much for reading it. I do hope you enjoyed it.
    Kind regards,
    John

    Hi Toastmaster.
Now this is a coincidence because I have a 1950's toastmaster that I love and don't ever want to get rid of. They just don't make them like they used to. I want to thank you for adding my novel, The Doctors, to your shelf. I hope you like it! Debbie
