Never in my life would I have thought that the day would come that my own mother would actually scold me just seeing me holding a book...

It is true. I am not exaggerating but I have this impulse that once I came into possession of a really good book, (and I know I am not alone in this) I just cant put it down! And when you cannot put a book down...you are lost in your own world...your mind is bound inside a world both foreign and familiar at the same time...you are in a journey faraway...Your body might be still in the comfort of your chair but your mind is racing in a different dimension---a dimension full of exciting adventures, chase, magic, different creatures both real and fiction. And you know what happens next: (yes, I am guilty of them!) you are already missing your meals, not coming out of your room for hours, staying up late until wee hours of the morning, even forgetting to comb your hair! It seems really terrible but the feeling that you get after you finish a good book is worth anything and everything----it is the feeling of great satisfaction.

So, that's me. I have this bad habit but I am not a bookworm nor a book maniac. I am a book lover. They sometimes take a toll out of my crazy life but the most important thing is I HAVE A LIFE. Books are made for many different reasons. But one thing is for sure, it is not made for you to forget about the real world and forget about living your life. Hypocritical though it may seem, my advice to everyone: READ MODERATELY (as if :P ~haha!now that's a hypocrite^^) « less
