Reading is my passion. My favorite genres are historical fiction/romance, historical mysteries, romantic suspense, and straight contemporary romance. My "keeper shelf" contains many of my favorites that I reread regularly. I love to discover new authors and enjoy the comfort of my old favorites.

Kristine, how exciting! The Crocodile review was the first one I wrote at AAR. I've read somewhere else that the new book coming out this fall is in her Vicky Bliss series. HOWEVER, people seem to be saying that there is some connection between the hero in her Vicky Bliss series and someone in the Amelia books.

I haven't read the C.S. Harris books, but they definitely sound like something I'd be interested in. Thanks for the recommendation!

Kristine, I was just looking at your shelf. You like the Amelia Peabody mysteries too!!! They're one of my very favorites. I keep hoping she'll come out with more in the series.

Hi Kristine, This was the first book I read by Shirlee Busbee.
I loved Scandal Becomes Her because I love the "they have to get married" theme. It's a romance, but has some mystery. I also love books where the H/h are together through most of the book.
    Hope this helps!

Hi Kristine. I agree completely about A Fatal Waltz. I like the first two in the series, but this is definitely my favorite. There's just so much going on in the book. I stayed up late two nights just to finish it (paid for it at work, but it was worth it). You're right about the sense of place; she does a wonderful job. Oh, and the Duke? I so want him to get his HEA. I wish she'd write faster!
