There are some interesting ideas in this book, but it's largely a collection of stories from other author's works - Gladwell's Outliers and Colvin's Talent Is Overrated. I was disappointed at the lack of unique content, and disagree with several of the author's assertions, such as the necessity of legalizing performance-enhancing drugs within competitive sports.

I'm not a software developer, but found this book super-helpful. The author certainly knows his stuff and has seen it all. Very practical and written in an easy-to-read, entertaining style.

A great explanation of what's involved in setting up a usability test. It's a quick and easy read with lots of practical advice.

A cute story. Laugh out loud funny in a few spots. I'll read the next in the series.

Fascinating from cover to cover. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to do or be something remarkable within their company. A handbook for creating a healthy culture within an organization with lots of personal stories to make it easier to digest.

Reading this book made me want to pack up and move to Vegas to work at such a great company!

An eye-opening book - so much more than I was expecting.

The book is several unconventional ideas about running wrapped in an interesting story. If you're at all interested in running, you'll probably enjoy this.

While this is a quick and interesting read, don't expect to learn anything new if you've already read In Defense of Food. This is the aggressively abridged version of that title. A good introduction to Pollan and a great set of rules for eating well.

I haven't actually read this, but my wife has, and we've been following Dr. Weissbluth's plan with great success. Our daughter was sleeping through the night within a week of the new regimen (at about 3 months of age). I highly recommend it to new parents.

This is one of the best books available for practicing interaction designers - a common-sense approach to design that should help you think more clearly about the problems you're trying to solve for your customers.
