    It's all work soundly again. Thank you for whatever you did, but now that I can see it I do have a few questions.

    Do you have some specific type of edit that takes priority on the approval list? Some of my primary contributors changes have been pending approval for six days down. I'm sure you're busy with the new homepage, and other things, but I just was a little curious because some recent title changes that I've made have been approved within two days. Just want to make sure they are going through.

    Hi Tim,

    I'm a little concerned right now. I have been able to access my edits since Friday or Saturday evening, which is a major inconvenience. I get directed to the server error page. I assume development just isn't working this weekend, but I've gotten this before and it fixes pretty quickly. I really need to check my edits, but I was just checking to make sure my guess was correct, or that my "log of the event" hadn't gotten lost somewhere.

    Hi, Timothy. Can you NOT approve the latest books I submitted to be combined. I made a mistake. I was trying to combine all editions of The Savage Detectives by Roberto Bolano but I discovered that another book (2666) was included when I checked my pending edits.

    hello
    1. in "Members Are Asking…" part of a book when i answer “Should I read this?” question it leads me to "Ask those who’ve read this book if it’s worth reading." page ... and I don't want to ask... i wanted to answer so i click on "cancel" instead of "ask question" and it will not answer that person ... and that person still asked, "“Should I read this?”" in main page of that book

    2. in downloaded xls file of my shelf from edit profile --] Library, Download a list of your books. in the xls file in section below the private part - private column - it shows nothing when i make a book private....but when i make a book signed it shows a True in Signed column and information on Loaned & DateAdded & Private column will be appear...is this normal or a bug?

    Aargh! Can you not approve a request for me. I am combining Erle Stanley Garderner's Perry Mason series and the last one I did had "The Case of the Borrowed Brunette" as the title but when I went to add the series the book is actually titled "The Begatting of a President". Unfortunately it would be the one I would have added the series to. Sorry to cause you extra work . . .

    I feel kind of slow. I hadn't realized that the drop down menu to the right of the add button gave you a shortcut to the "I've read it button". That saves a lot of time.

    Thanks for the response Timothy.

    Like a lot of readers, I typically find an author that I like and read just about everything by him or her. What I have been doing on Shelfari is looking up an author and then scrolling down through the books they have written adding the books that I have read by them.

    I'll try a couple of the methods you mentioned below. Thanks. I appreciate the advice!

    Hi Timothy. I'm Kelly M's brother and she suggested I send you the following question. Is there an easier way to add books? I spent about 2 hours adding books yesterday and only added about 80. Today I saw that new user, Sue added over 2000 books today? I'd love to be able to add books more quickly. Is there some magic that I'm not aware of?

    but about part 3
    the problem is more with books than authors ...about combining authors it moves all the books to main author's page that we chose as primary but other author's pages are still there with 0 books... and for combining books that i told u before in some author's pages it shows books for combine and in others - like the ones i told you- it doesn't.

    there are some thingz i want to tell you:
    1. why my ID is not among the Top 20 Editors when it says Updated every six hours ?

    2. I always see "Your profile is 95% complete" message in my home page & when i clock on How do I get to 100%? , just Add friends is not crossed off so i clicked on it and sent invitation to my friends but its still 95 % I test it both with firefox & ie
    3. in some author's books pages like:

    or
    http://www.shelfari.com/authors/a24948/Iraj-Pezeshkzad/books
    & ...
    when i click on "If you see duplicate books, combine them." it says "A Server Error Has Occurred"
    4. its not possible to change cover of a book even for creator .... and I don't know how to make new edition to a book ...its a hard way ..... I should create a need book and wait till approve for author's name and then combine and if not seeing "A Server Error..." wait again
    5. if there was a way to customize home pages it was so good for example : i never use One of your favorite books is missing character information in Add Facts to Your Books...i wish there was a way to disable missing character message

    I had actually submitted a request for the Simms Taback book to be moved. After submitting the move I went ahead and also submitted the author name change to Pam Adams. Should I have waited on this? I recently obtained a copy of the book by Pam Adams and am certain they are different. The Simms Taback version of the song was actually a Caldecott Award winner and should definitely have it's own page. Since all the other editions looked to be the Pam Adams version I thought the Simms Taback book was the one that should be moved...I hope I'm going through the "move to a different book" process correctly...? Is it better for me to wait on changing the author until after the move goes through in the future? Thanks so much for checking on this! :)
