I am retired from the U.S. Navy. After retirement, I returned to school and earned an M.S. in Traditional Chinese Medicine and two doctorate level degrees in Naturopathic Medicine and Naturopathic Medical Research. I opened two private medical practices which I had to close following my fourth heart attack and a quadruple bypass. At the same time, I had to give up teaching martial arts, scuba diving and my private pilot's license.

I went on disability and began writing (actually learning to write) at that time. I had two ebooks published (under the name Tim Fisher) in 1996 and was very disappointed in the work even though they reached #4 and #6 on fictionwise.com's best seller list.

All of my books are published by Double Dragon Publishing (DDP). My most recent novel is Windows of Farn the second in the Chronicles of Bear series. The third should be out around the end of the year.

I live in the Hill Country of Texas with my two best friends and speed bumps (dogs) Bo and Dusty. « less
