Oh man, I am glad you are reading The Road. It is so good, I have never read anything like it before... amazing. Have you read The Lovely Bones? I saw the preview for the movie and it looked really good. I may want to read it, the film looks gorgeous!

Have you read the novel, "One Thousand White Women: The Journals of May Dodd" by Jim Fergus? I recommend it, as this book received the highest rating of any book read by my book club.

Yeah I have read "The Joy Luck Club" I loved that one, have you read "The Kitchen God's Wife" by Amy Tan? Check that one out.

I've only managed to read about 50 pages. I am busy moving furniture around as my daughter is coming from MASS. to spend some time with me while she attends some business classes here. I try to read when I go to bed at night, but only manage to get a few pages read that way. Need to get on a better reading schedule!
thanks for the rec. i started reading it, but i think since i love the show with a passion, i was too afraid of the book letting me down i decided not to finish it. love
