the love for reading, literature and poetry was sparked in me since childhood. like "rosa too little" -- it made me proud whenever i filled up my library card and asked for a new card from the librarian. i would spend dismissal time tucked in our school library -- reading a lot of children's books.
as i got older - intermediate school and high school - i read more of the sappy romance novels that were popular in those days -- i enrolled in this club called bookdale club, that rented out bestsellers and romance novels to its members. i dabbled with poetry, got involved with our school paper, and loved journalism as well.
in my college days, recreational reading was replaced with academic reading, as well as psychology reads, in line with my degree. same goes for graduate school - educational articles and books consumed me.
i love reading various genres, but mainly, psychology, spirituality, poetry, education, health, fiction, parenting, english literature.
