I enjoy travel, wine, birdwatching, stargazing, just about anything filled with/covered in/or related to chocolate, collecting vintage etiquette books, watching professional tennis (all hail Roger Federer!) and spending a night on the town with my husband. Some of my favorite things include: Pink lilies, cashmere sweaters, champagne, vintage costume jewelry, my video iPod, British magazines, every cat I've ever seen and anything that comes in that lovely blue Tiffany box.
Books occupy the largest place in my life (not to mention my home). They are my trusted companions and truest friends. I usually have five or six going at once and more on the way from Amazon.com. No subject is off limits -- poetry, finance, gardening, literature, the natural world, business, spirituality, food and drink, erotica, history, fashion, current events, and the list goes on. Favorite authors include Walt Whitman, Jack Kerouac, Isabel Allende, Diane Ackerman, Joseph Campbell, Eckhart Tolle, the Bronte sisters and e.e. cummings.
