I had to rate this one a DNF.

Tess really really got on my nerves. She had been burnt in a previous relationship - she quit school for her man and when he broke up with her, she had nothing. So she moved to New York (from Florida) to become an independent, successful woman. When Gabe wants to be with her, she freaks out and says and she has to work on her first. She was just too pig-headed to realize that she already was a successful, independent woman. Gabe was such a great guy too.

I was too annoyed with Tess to truly enjoy this book.

My #1 fave romance novel ever! Jessica is something else. Woot!

Better than Nauti Boy, but still not the strongest LL I’ve ever read. I had fun reading it though. No one can write a crazy possessive, domineering alpha hero like Lora.

I am not a fan of historical widows, but Rosamund's story really touched me. Luc was a great hero. A good romance - the only conflict derived from the characters. Good stuff.

This was the first Jennifer Crusie novel I ever read and I absolutely loved it. Loved all the characters, very real. Whenever I need a pick-me-up, this is the book I pick. :)
