I have mixed feelings about Breaking Dawn. I don't have it out yet, but I am thinking about going ahead. I read it, it wasn't as well written as the other books in the series - IMHO.

I teach in an urban middle school, so my students are a little more used to edgier material. I haven't really had a problem with anything being censored. I tell my students that if they come across anything that offends them, they can close the book and return it. There is a big difference n maturity, however, between 6th and 8th graders, so I do try to steer the 6th graders away from books that may be inappropriate for them.
