    “Catching Fire was just as compelling as Hunger Games. It's always great when a sequel can live up to its predecessor. The only negative thing to be said about it is that the author spends a lot of time retelling things from the first book. Almost every reference from Hunger Games comes with a paragraph recapping that portion of the story. It definitely slows down the plot of Catching Fire, which is full of twists and turns, and makes reading it slightly less smooth and enjoyable. ”

    “I flat out refused to read this book based on the premise, sending children out to fight to the death, but I'm so glad I was convinced to read it. The story is compelling and pulls you right in and refuses to let you go. I pre-ordered the 3rd book, set to come out August 24th, back in January. ”

    “Better than her Twilight series by far. It starts off pretty slow but once it gets going it's hard to set it down until you're finished. One of my favorite books ever.”
