Thank you for inviting me to be a friend. You have a very eclectic book shelf! I'm currently looking for something unusual in the mystery/suspense/adventure category for my book club to read when my month for book selection comes in November. Any suggestions?

    Ooops...I hit sumit to soon..

I see you gave the book a better rating that I did. I haven't read any of her other books, because I am scared they are going to be as bad as "Sandcastles"

More exciting news at the Suspense & Thrillers Group…as you might already know that Keith Katsikas, author of “2060: The Newton Prophecies” will be leading a discussion on his book. We don’t have a date set up yet, but will in a couple of weeks.

In the meantime, Amanda Stevens, author of THE DOLLMAKER, has also agreed to lead the discussion for May’s Group Read, which is THE DOLLMAKER. I’m really excited as this is something new and might become a new trend with our group discussions. If you’ve already read the book, come join us. If not, see if you can grab a copy. There’s still time as the discussion won’t begin until the first week of May.

Do you know how much it warmed my heart that you even remembered the title? Made me want to cry, LOL! RH has been sort of put on hold. I got through to chapter 11, but the story got away from me - started rambling and dug myself into a pit. Trying to fix it - would have been done by now if I wasn't so bloody busy! Grrr! Anyway, who did the cover art for DoA?

Is that the cover art for Dead on Arrival? Awesome! When's it coming out? Got an ETA yet? You do remember I said I was first in line, right?

Thanks for the comment. I like it much better than what my close friends insists, that I am "in love" with him. She believes that to be the only rational explanation. But maybe there isn't an explanation. I love him? How can that even be possible? Haha, sorry for bombarding you with my nonsensical thoughts. =D

Hi! The picture is my cat Cupcake. She looks like a Maine Coon, but was found abandoned under a trailer by a friend. Her sister, Sweet Pea, is grey and doesn't look anything like her. Cuppy is the funniest cat we've ever had.

Tall Pine Polka was a really fun book and I definitely recommend that one. Though I have heard people say they didn't enjoy that one as much as Angry Housewives or Patty Jane's. :)

Dear Snoopyone: Good luck with your novel. It took me years to get this first one published. The publisher is Canadian. Maybe you should check them out: Kunati Books. They are open to first-timers. My novel is a suspense/thriller, so you might enjoy it. It's called HUNTING THE KING, and it's coming out in two weeks. (Promoting is one thing you'll have to do once you're published) Here are the details:
HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O’Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: “Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likeable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can’t come too soon.”

To get a good sense of how powerful the book is, check out the heartpounding booktrailer on YouTube or on my web site at www.peterclenott.com. It is like watching a preview for an exciting movie. The novel is equally exciting.

While it isn’t out until April, you can find it on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and Kunati Books. I hope you’ll take a look. And let me know what you think.

    Thanks. Peter.

I really loved Patty Jane's House of Curl. I don't think I have read a L. Landvik that I haven't liked. LOL I also really enjoy Erica Spindler's work.
