When our heroine met Maxim de Winter I was engrossed in the story and could not put it down. Each chapter revealed a little bit more of the past and created more mystery. All the twist and turns were not expected, which is a sign of a good mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed all the characters even the ones I loved to hate. I found it to be an engaging story, well written and stood the test of time. A 5 star book for me and so glad I read it.”
