I did like hunger games, but I thought it could have been a lot more than it was. I guess I will just have to wait for George to finish A Song of Ice and Fire before I pass judgment on his ruthlessness. In the interim I think they are amazing gritty-realistic fantasy; something the genre really needed. Also--holy shit give a warning before saying those spoilers man!
I've been reading a lot of mountain literature. Right now, "Eiger Dreams" by Jon Krakauer. Pretty good stuff if that's what you're into. Haven't been on this site in forever. I see you haven't slowed down a bit, lol.
Yeah its pretty good, and now you get the 800 lb gorilla in the room metaphor. The story of B isn't bad but the main character is assumed to ignorant to be believable.
