LOVE YOUR SHELF
Yes thanks please let me know the ones you liked. I like the switching bodies and history part too. When I was young I saw a film with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour called Somewhere in Time which was about him going back in time after he falls in love with her portrait - it was quite good. It's difficult trying to get hold of these books from the library so I will probably have to buy them so I will stick with the ones you think are good. Take care and thanks again for the recommendation. Bye!!
Hi and thanks for the link - I'm going to definately check it out. I was researching some other time travel books and came up with the 'Time Passages' series which has some good titles - are you familiar with them? I've added a few to my wishlist - A Once and Future Love by Anne Kelleher, River of Dreams by Jenny Lykins and Only time will Tell by Sherry Lewis to name a few. Do you like books that mix a bit of history and modern life together? For example where a modern day woman is haunted by the the spirit of a tragic ancestress from the past? Or maybe in some books she is the reincarnation of some tragic ancestress from the past?
Hi there, thank you very much for your recommendations. These books are great! I don't have an ebook reader unfortunately - am working on it though! Have you checked out my Buffy site yet? If you are a fan I would love to hear your views so please join. Bye!
Hi there, wow Timeless Shadows sounds cool. Thanks for taking the time to explain the plot. I'm a big fan of Scottish history and would love to go and see some of the old castle ruins there some day. Whats 'When There Is Hope' about?
I would appreciate any titles you could recommend and then I will look them up online. I don't have an ebook reader but its on my birthady wishlist. Bit of a wait though as it's not till September! Anyway take care and chat soon. Bye!
Cool, sometimes it nice to read a different genre as the same genre can get boring. Time Travel is interesting especially if its a love story. Whats your favourite time travel book so far? Also whats Timeless Shadows about and who is the author?
I'm still needing my vampire fix though. I don't know what it is about vampires that keeps me fascinated. You would think that the vampire mythology had been exhausted by now but every so often theres a different take. Blood memories was slightly different. Anyway keep in touch won't you. Chat soon Bye!
Hi there! Haven't heard from you in a while, what have you been up to? You were one of my first friends when I joined Shelfari so i thought we would catch up on recent reads. I've recently finished reading Barb Hendee's Blood Memories which was brilliant. I've started Kat Richardson's Greywalker series yesterday. What are you reading at the moment?
heard about sookie stackhouse book 11? Dead in the family?
Hi, I rdefinately recommend both Wake and Fade. They are about a girl who gets sucked into peoples dreams/nightmares albeit reluctantly. However she is learning to help people in their dreams now. Its really cool I think. I have not read anything by Laurell Hamilton yet but Ive noticed she is very popular with fellow Shelfarian readers. What would you say was the best book by her that you would recommend to a new reader? Take care.
Hi, and you welcome. We have 90 books in common so pretty much similar tastes. I have just finished reading Lisa McMann's Wake which I enjoyed for its originality. I plan to read the sequel Fade next. Have you read it? Also what are you reading now?
Despite my love of the paranormal genre, I must admit I have never read fae books as I'm a bit skeptical about them, but I'll add that to my reading list thanx.
cool thanx. I'll give it a try n tell u what I think
I've read the whole va series and storm born but I'm a bit hesistant on succubus series. I don't know if I should?
I've finished reading the Vampire diaries, and it was awesoooooooooooome. Hey, if you liked the Twilight saga, and House of night, you're gonna love this book. And what's more, Edwards incarnation was there. He's name is Stafan, an Italian gorgeous vampire. He's kind, clever, educated, polite, composed etc etc just like Edward. You really should read it. I wanna discuss it so badly.
I will have to look into getting those. I NEED to read. lol. This week I have been so reading deprived. lol. I really need to read a book for school, but I am just not feeling it. I want to read so many books right now. I hope I will make some progress on my book list, but it grows everyday so I doubt it. lol
thanks! they both look good is the first one in the vampire huntress series minion?
Thanks for the add!! I love your shelf and look forward to swapping book recommendations with ya!
How is the urban werewolf series?
