Greetings ThagOaktree,Thank you for the confirmation on the Xanth novel. It was loaned to me by a friend a very long time ago and I failed to purchase a copy for myself. Every once in awhile I think about the fun word play and wish I had bought a copy but I couldn't remember the title of the book! Since joining Shelfari I have spent hundreds of dollars on books from Barnes & Noble (only those I didn't think I could find elsewhere used) so I will scour the many Thrift Stores in this area searching for a copy!
Hello from across town. John mentioned he talked to you at the store today. I keep telling him he needs to join Shelfari and put his books on here but he just keeps shaking his head at me. Maybe one of these days I'll wear him down and he will join!

Greetings! I notice you have quite a few of the Deadlands books on your shelf. I've never actually played the game (or any rpg for that matter) but I was fascinated by the alternate-history aspect of it (and the 'mad science' gismos are cool, too). By the way, is it just me or does Dr. Darius Hellestrome resemble Vincent Price? Anyway, just wanted to say hello and welcome to shelfari from one 'Deadlander' to another.
