Some intellectuals have thought it is the ultimate arrogance to believe that each of us have been put on this earth to accomplish something significant. Or perhaps there is a God that created so much that our tiny minds can not grasp even a micro niche of this creation. Would it be arrogant to consider that he/she would give even a fraction of its' time to me?
I am just a man trying to figure out day by day what I am supposed to be doing in this world. To a small extent I believe that I 'have' found that ... or (I have come to know that) it would it be more right to that it has made itself/himself known to me.
I've stared at the threatening end of a handgun on two occasions in my life. How long will it be before this life is over I don't know. However I don't think that death will make me nervous anymore; I'll let you know if I have to stare at the end of another handgun again. To live is Christ and to die is gain.
