    Hey Terri!
I own the newest Sparks book, but have not read it yet either. Did you hear the story behind it? Miley Cyrus went to Sparks and wanted him to write her a screenplay. So, he did under one condition, he got to write a book about it too. So, this is the book that will go with the movie Miley is working on right now : / I don't particularly love Miley all that much, but we'll see. I don't think the book will be up to his standards or the movie. A friend is currently reading it and says she's pretty disappointed with it.

Jodi is an amazing writer! I own all but 2 of her 16 books. I have read all but 2 of them(but I own both that I haven't read : ) ). She lives one town over from me, so I've met her a few times. I've also done some theater with her boys. They're cool and so is she. She did my makeup for a show! : )

My birthday is March 15. I'll be 18 this year! Woohoo! A friend's 18th was yesterday, actually.

Right now I am reading Protector's Honor(LIS September book). It's Kit's debut novel. I like it, but have only read around 50ish pages. I just realized that I've read 5 LI books in 2 weeks! Lol...however, I have physical therapy twice a week and get to read for 35 minutes there everytime(I can explain that subject more in another comment sometime, if you're curious). I also had SATs this past Saturday and ended up getting over 50 pages read there! Lol...This is pretty unusual circumstances for me to get this much read during the school year. I have really tough classes, including AP English, so I already have a book to read unfortunately.

Anyway, glad you like long comments because that's probably what you'll get from me : ) I like to talk...though I'm extremely shy in person. I love reading long comments, too. I love being to look forward to something when I come on here : )
Have a GREAT day and talk to you tomorrow!!

Awwww! Che is soooo cute! I am 17 years old and a senior in high school. A friend introduced me to Steeple Hill in May of 2009 and I have been reading them almost nonstop ever since! I really enjoy them. Never read any of the Historical but the Suspense and Romance are really great! I LOVE Spark's too. He's a remarkable writer. Have you read his newest book?

Have you ever heard of Jodi Picoult?

When is Che's birthday? My birthday is in March too! : )

Okay I'm trying not to make this too long...but I'm warning you now, I tend to make LONG comments : )

Okay more later! It's really great meeting you...can't wait to talk again!

    Hey Terrie!
I added you. Thanks for the invite. What books do we have in common? Do you read Steeple Hill? If not, have you heard of them? I have a TON of the books on my shelf, so if not come to my shelf and take a look. It sounds like you might like them. Let me know if you want any information...I'm on nightly, so no worries about me responding back!
Hope to chat soon, learn some about you maybe...see why we have so many books in common! : )
    Thanks!
    Hannah
By the way, the dog is my dog, Maddie. She is our beautiful 3 year old baby. She's part lab, part husky. So, she's a handful! Would love to see a picture of your little baby : )

we have a lot of books in common... I read almost everything but romance. I was thinking about why I avoid romance and I think I figured it out. After I had my third child I spent a month in isolation in the hospital in intensive care. Anything that came in the room had to be expendable because it would be burned. Friend's brought in large paper bags filled with romance novels. I haven't read one since and that daughter is now 28 and a new mama herself LOL!

If you like Michael Palmer I think you might like Joshua Spanogle. Try him out. He wrote 2 books so is fairly new to writing but the books are excellent and I can't wait for him to write faster! (Flawless and Isolation Ward)

Hi, Terri. I am the author of The Sandal Maker, a new novel about the public ministry of Jesus. A book that will take you on a fascinating journey of how the gospel came to be. You can read the first chapter by going to scribd.com and searching for the title. I’m including here the publisher's notes from Amazon.com. Let me know what you think.

    Book Description
Caleb, an elderly Jew, leaves the safety of his home in Cana on a mission to find a man he believes is in Jerusalem. Miriam, Caleb’s only remaining child, accompanies him disguised as a boy. In the desolation of the war struck Galilean countryside, father and daughter risk their lives to journey south on the Jordan River trail. As they walk, Caleb intrigues Miriam with a captivating story of his youth that will change her future destiny. A story of a time forty years prior when he became a sandal maker in order to observe a man some called the Miracle Worker. Caleb secretly kept notes of the events he saw and heard as he followed the crowds. With his objective, skeptical point of view, he reveals the fascinating ministry of the one he called the “Master.” Heart pounding perils and the threat of death endanger the two travelers, but nothing could foretell the fate awaiting them in Jerusalem!

    From the Publisher
    A. Michaelson's new novel, The Sandal Maker, takes the reader on a fascinating journey back to the year 70 A.D. in worn torn Palestine. The author creatively weaves two stories together, one in the present, the other in the past. Heartwarming, enlightening and tragic, The Sandal Maker paints a portrait of one man's life and his involvement in how the gospel came to be.

I now blog for Thomas Nelson, Random House, Zonderman. It is fun but a lot of reading. It gets people to come to my blog and find my books. I am very far behind on my reading and I also have a bunch of books I am dying to read.
I try to write and all that. I am on book #4 in the Nan's Heritage Series...I don't have #3 published yet but I have to stay in practice.
I guess I am like you. I love books!

Hi Terri. Your info caught my attention right away because you live in Fayetteville, NC since I have a daughter who lives there. Her husband is in the army and has just been deployed to Afghanistan for his second tour. They have one child, 15 month old boy. She is Katie W on Shelfari and I will tell her about you. We both seem to like Christian fiction books so would enjoy being your friend. I have another daughter, Hillary S on Shelfari, who also loves Christian fiction. I was also interested in your occupation - how NEAT! Look forward to sharing books with you.
