Absolutely. :)
Good luck with everything! I'm looking forward to your new book!
Busy is a good thing. :) I love the new cover, I looked it up! Beautiful.
I'm excited! You'll have to let me know! I'll pre-order it for sure. :)
I haven't been writing as much as I'd like to. School's just started, so I've been busy with everything. I'm in a small sort of block, where I have the story line and prose, but can't decide which way I want to approach it. So I'm in a "mulling" process. :P Good to hear from you!
I know what you mean. It's so hard to write a short summary of writing and have it do justice to the actual work.
Sounds awesome! :)
Thanks for your input :).
Oooh, so what's this one about?
Yay!!! You mean the sequel to Blue Aspen?
I finished the first draft of my Nanowrimo from last year (that's where I started the book I was talking to you about), and I'm going through the editing stages and trying to fix some problems with it. I've gotten some critiques from some of my family and friends, so I'm going to start re-writing it soon. Wish me luck!
I've never really gone through serious re-writing stages before, so this should be fun... if you have any advice you think will help me, please let me know. :) Thanks soo much!
I'm extremely excited to read your new book!!
I'm actually still reading Intensity--life has been crazy lately, and I've not had the kind of time to read as I'd wish. So far, it's rather engaging, and I'm enjoying it. I find Koontz was much better during the early years. Not so much in the latter.
I try to read as many authors as possible whenever I can. I think it makes me a more well-rounded writer--that is, as long as I don't let it influence my style and voice too much. A delicate balance.
Best of luck with your next book. I'm busily at work on my second as well.
Drew
I'm reading Koontz's Intensity right now. So far, pretty good. Have you read it?
Yeah. I need to update my shelf. There's a whole lot I don't have listed there. I've read some John Saul. I'll check out the titles you've mentioned and see if I've read them. Thanks :)

I'm writing a novel right now that sort of falls into the same genre as Blue Aspen, I'll update you in its progress. :)

I jsut spent a half hour writing a review for Blue Aspen on B&N, and it erased :(
Unfortunately talking is a small problem, but I will endever to be better about filching a phone more often. I've been going slightly crazy woman D here without our usual chats. I'll try to talk to you soon. About to take a test so bye for now. Hope things get better for you soon. Love ya lotses and bunches.
How are things going my friend the author? long time no notes - and now that phones are outta the question notes are important. slip me one eh?
Well, I'm glad you've been writing! :) I had a few sessions of freewriting recently, but I have a few books I'm working on as well. I've chosen one that I want to work on right now, and I have three titles I'm deciding between. Thanks, I'm really looking forward to Blue Phoenix!
I tend to feel like that from time to time, but suddenly a month or two later, there's five books in my to-read pile. I guess I just fill in my non-reading time with writing and vice versa.
I'm doing well, how are you? My summer's been fairly uneventful so far...
