  If you haven't read Jerk, California, it is a MUST read! I have read this at least 7 times and get more and more from it every time I read it. It would be a fabulous movie!

  Just went to an autograph signing of K.M. Walton's new book, "Empty"- what an AWESOME, in the truest sense of the word, person! If you haven't read "Cracked", her first book, it is now in paperback and amazing. "Empty" is fabulous. I sat down to read it, and didn't move until the last page.
  Both novels deal with the topic of bullying, but differently. "Cracked" (has 2 males as the main characters ) the bullied and bully end up in the same psych hospital as roomates. "Empty" (female as the protagonist) life has gotten suddenly more stressful and she is overweight. She feels lost and alone...

  You have got to check out this great new review site. Instead of the usual bloggers – and there are some excellent ones – this site has something like 135 reviewers and is growing. And the reviewers are published authors. And they cover every genre. Plus they have fantastic giveaways – never a book few people want. It New York Journal of books and you can get thir at http://nyjournalofbooks.com or http://nyjb.net.
  Right now they have a giveaway for the new DAVID BALDACCI: HELL’S CORNER. If you sign up for promotions, they don’t spam you, but you do hopefully hear about giveaways. These seem to change pretty frequently and they only do one at a time.
