I have always loved to read. In times of trial in my life, I have found my books to be a nice escape for a few hours to a fantasy place.
I mostly read romances, romantic suspense, spiritual suspense/romance and cozy mysteries. I also reread a lot and my comfort books are well loved with food stains on some pages (those dang cheetos leave orange marks on everything I touch) and every once in a while I have to replace one that is falling apart.
I also have a huge TBR pile which keeps growing like Topsy because I continually buy more books then I actually get read. But, there is such security in knowing I will always have something to read!!
I also have an online used bookstore with alibris (Your Bookie) and if nothing grabs me on my tbr pile I can always 'shop' my store shelves.
I am an unabashed bookaholic and books are my 'drug of choice'. I have no desire for a 12 step program to curb my addiction, as I figure no one will arrest me for reading in public!
