Tawayne Tawa McNeil (born October 25, 1978.) was birthed in Durham, North Carolina. He grew up in a small town of North Carolina named Angier and attended Angier Elementary, Angier Middle, and Lillington Middle. He attended Harnett Central High for his freshman and sophomore years, but later transferred to Fuquay-Varina High for the remaining years. Tawayne Tawa McNeil didn't find High school challenging enough and in his senior year, he dropped out where he attended Earle C. Clements Job Corps in Morgan Field Kentucky. After graduating with a degree as an Electrician, he pursued a career in engineering. In 1997, again Tawayne Tawa McNeil sought a challenge and therefore, joined the US Marines.
Tawayne was with the US Marines for a brief term before receiving a S.E.L and returned to school to further his knowledge in the Electrical field. He gained employment with a small electrical company where he determined that the electrical field wasn't for him. He decided that he wanted to pursue writing and movie making instead.
Over the next ten years, Tawayne wrote several poems, attended many Poetry Houses for open mic nights, participated in "Poetry Slams" and received recognition for his talent with words. In 2007, Tawayne Tawa McNeil published his first poem entitled, "Why Do Men Cheat" and got many praises for his works and after submitting his poems to online publishers, he won The People's Choice Award and Editor's Choice Award. Also in 2007, he created his writing label entitled, Versatile Writing & Movie Making and wrote his first movie script entitled "Lost Soul" in 2007. Tawayne Tawa McNeil, pursued the craft of filmmaking, but without having the resources or the know how to create a film, he abandon the project and returned to writing poetry and picking up the talent of writing short erotic stories.
In April of 2011, Tawayne Tawa McNeil, independently released book 1 of his 4 book Serial Novel entitled, Hard Times An Erotic Thriller, (Evolution's of Brittney).
Tawayne Tawa McNeil has authored fifteen novels over the course of four years. He's been featured on Blog Talk Radio, "dp radio presents," and has hosted many events around the country.
