    Hello Tanya:
How are you and your family? Danny and I are fine. How are the cats and Willow? I like the picture of her on your icon pic. Is she adjusting to the cats more now? Are you reading any good books now? Do you and your family have any plans for the 4th of July? Please write back. Your friend, Judy

    Dear Tanya:
Is Jane Green a good author? I heard that she's very good. That Book Swapping Lives sounds interesting. Please tell me more about it. What have you been reading lately? I may start a chick lit book later or tomorrow. Your friend, Judy

    Hi Tanya:
How are you and your family? Danny and I are fine. I've cut back on my reading also temporarily. I know dogs are a lot of work. She is really cute though. I think in time she and the cats will get along. My cats are fine. Alex still follows me around like a dog. I just got a hamster about 3 weeks ago. She is a dwarf hamster. She's very cute and her name is Magnolia (Maggie) for short. She keeps me pretty busy. Did you ever raise fish? We have 5 goldfish. Please write back. How's the weather there? Your Friend, Judy

I'm glad you got it. It was to your personal email that I meant it to go. How exciting - a new puppy! That's great that she's so excited about it, too! I am glad that you found something that seems to be helping.

I have been on a roll reading stuff I'm enjoying - a lot of YA stuff. Have you read anything by Shannon Hale. I read The Goose Girl last summer or fall, and continued on with Enna Burning a few months ago. I just finished reading River Secrets - liked that better than Enna Burning, and an adult novel by Hale, that I loved, called Austenland! I just (finally!) read Pride and Prejudice - my first Austen novel - back in January, but I don't think you need to have read it to enjoy Austenland. I have reviews on my shelf if you want to check them out. I think there are reviews for all I've mentioned. What have you been reading lately?

Hi! I just sent you a private message. It doesn't always seem to work with certain people, so I wanted to leave a note here to make sure you know it's coming! Hope you're doing well. :-)

I finished Handle With Care this wkend and the ending was just so abrupt. At least In My Sisters Keeper it was different you knew how it was going to end. I hope you read it since I don't want to let the cat out of the bag.

I always say a book is always the worst and then more come along. LOL. I'm reading Eve which is a fictional account of Eve from the bible and don't know if I want to "pull the bookmark" on it yet since I'm not much into historical but did love The Red Tent by Anita Diamant which was also biblical.

Can't wait to see the pic of your new pug. I think they are so cute.

Hi Tanya. I just saw your review of Pug Hill by Alison Pace. I'll be taking that one off my list and glad that I found out before I read it.

I really liked Eileen Goudge's earlier books. I'm reading Candace Bushnell's One Fifteh Avenue. I've never read anything by her and this one has so many characters I hope I'll get through it.

Hi Tanya. I see that you weren't thrilled w/Jodi Picoult's Handle With Care. Her stuff has been going downhill in my opinion w/her past 2 books. I'm still going to read it though. I also saw that you read Eileen Goudge's The Diary. Her books are usually predictable in my opinion.

Cookie says thank you! When we first met Cookie, he was a foster kitty from the Humane Society, and his ears were way too big for his face! Still are, actually. We also have four cats, and one of them is black like your kitty, though Pookie is much LARGER than yours . . .
Some nice books on your shelf!

Did you see Last House on the Left? Our paper gave it an F. I saw it at 25 on video and I couldn't imagine seeing it at 10. I would've been scarred for life. My son is 12 and we're thinking of introducing him to The Ring, which is one of my favorites.
