I love the books on your shelf also. These kinds of books allow you to broaden your imagination & make your mind play them as though they were a film. I love it when books do that.

Absolutely agree.
Great to find someone with similar interests! Hope you will become a friend. Perhaps you're interested in the group Christian Fantasy Fiction.
If you're interested in Lewis and Tolken, consider starting a thread at the Inklings group.
Hi Tanis. Hope you're able to catch up with the Rose books soon. And I really enjoy visiting with my readers, so I'm glad you stopped by.
I would like to suggest Catherine Christian's The Pendragon if you have not read it--it is not well known among Arthurian buffs, but is one of my favorites.
I am actually in the same boat as you. I read reviews that GG Kay was a good writer so I picked up about five of his books at, where else, but the second hand bookstore. I have not started them as I am currently reading Judith Tarr's "Kingdom of the Grail". The character development is sort of lacking, and she gets a little too romance-novel for me, but the storyline is interesting enough. As soon as I finish it I am probably going to start the Fionavar tapestry series by Kay, so I will keep you posted on that. Other authors like him... I'm not so sure, but I'm always looking so I'll let you know how the search goes.
i have chesterton's bio of dickens. his other bios are on my wish lst
Wow! Amazing book shelf! I love you selection. It just made my "to read list" a lot longer. You might want to try out some the works by Charles de Lint. He mixes Celt-Irish and Native American myths with modern settings.
