Hi, thanks for following me! My debut novel is now available for download on Amazon Kindle - and it's completely free for the next two days. If you like science-fiction adventure stories, just copy the link below and download a copy! If you know someone else who might enjoy it too, please feel free to forward the link on to them :)
Thanks very much.
An Arsenal fan hey? I will shock you by saying I know not much about footie. Except that Arsenal must be a good team ;-) I've not read Fever Pitch. A school-teacher friend of mine said he thought the book was a lot better than the film; I did enjoy the latter. I think I will give it a go next perhaps out of my Hornby list. Yes, Bridget was "a girl" I guess; I found her melodramatic mood swings hilarious though :) Happy reading - and good to hear from you!
Hi Tania, just popped onto your shelf and I like :) I see you've read a few by Hornby, including a few I still have not got around to. Wasn't High Fidelity just incredible?! Also About a Boy is I believe the only novel I've started and finished on the same day :) Hilarious. Couldn't put it down. I see you didn't enjoy Bridget Jones quite so much. I thought that was hilarious too :))
Just noticed that you edited "The Shadow of the Wind" to add two more books by the same author in the section "More books like this". No worries. I haven't read the books so I don't know if they are really like "The Shadow of the Wind" but, if you added them because they were written by the same author, there's another option to show that: below the title, if the author is marked in blue, then it is a link to the author page, where you will find a list of the author's books.
In case the book shows no author or they are shown but not marked in blue, you can edit the author to link it to the author page.
Hope that helps. Enjoy Shelfari! :)
