I noted a common book on your bookshelf, Tana - Sophie's World, by Jostein Gaarder is the only novel that I EVER reread (and I try to do it each year)! It's a phenomenal read and a terrific way to access philosophy.
Hi, I listed the Cherryh omnibus on the club site, so check it out. I'm halfway through (One story done, gonna start the next one soon) and as always, her writting is awesome. Don't miss this one if at all possible. Next up will be some Dostoevsky, so get your literature frame of mind ready. Later, Bryan.
Have you decided to read the Varley series? I'm gonna start book three, "Demon" tonight. The first two were really good and I was surprised with the amount of dark humor and satire that was in the books. Next up will be a C.J. Cherryh Omnibus of two early novels. I will post it in the club in a few days, once I finish the Varley series. Later, Bryan.
Thanks for joining my new book club, hopefully it will be kinda fun. I have over 500 unread books to choose from, and we'll be reading lots of different kinds of stuff with an emphasis on sci-fi, since I'm in to that right now. Did you just join up? How did you find my book club? Anyway, Talk to you later, Bryan.
